The lab worker says:
Carver once said, “I love to think of nature as an unlimited broadcasting station, through which God speaks to us every hour, if we will only tune in."
I'm not sure if I agree with that, but I keep this quote to remind myself that people's beliefs are usually more complicated than you think.
