The little creature emerges from the bushes. It is less than two feet tall, and it looks like an old wooden doll. As it walks you can see that its feet don't actually hit the ground- it seems to be rolling around on wheels. Looking at it from the side, you see cogs and gears, like from an old clock. This looks like some kind of robot.
The small monk robot says:
Thank you ever so much. I seem to be quite discombobulated. You have some crumbs on your shirt, by the way.
